Part I — Nature of Our Services (Important Disclosures)

moveto.nyc is operated by Narrative AI Inc. (“moveto,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a software and technology platform that helps users discover publicly available apartment listings, organize their apartment search, and communicate with third parties. Please read the following disclosures carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to them.

1. We Are Not a Real Estate Broker

moveto is a software company. moveto is not a licensed real estate broker or salesperson under New York Real Property Law Article 12-A or the law of any other jurisdiction, and we do not perform any activity requiring a real estate license. Specifically:

• We do not negotiate leases, rents, fees, or any other lease terms on your behalf or on behalf of any landlord.
• We do not act as a broker, agent, or intermediary in any real estate transaction, and we do not represent you, any landlord, or any property owner.
• We do not list properties for compensation, procure tenants for landlords, or hold ourselves out as performing brokerage services.
• We do not provide legal, financial, or real estate advice. Information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only.

2. How We Make Money — No Success Fees, No Broker Fees

Our revenue comes exclusively from fees for software and technology services. Our fees are:

• Not contingent on whether you sign a lease, are approved for an apartment, or otherwise complete any real estate transaction;
• Not calculated as a percentage of rent, a commission, or any amount tied to the value or outcome of a lease; and
• Not a broker fee, finder’s fee, or commission of any kind.

We never collect any payment that is conditioned on or triggered by the signing of a lease. You owe us the same software fees whether or not your apartment search results in a signed lease.

3. NYC FARE Act Notice

Under the New York City Fairness in Apartment Rental Expenses (FARE) Act (effective June 11, 2025), a tenant may not be charged a broker fee by a broker hired by or representing a landlord. moveto does not charge broker fees to anyone. If you choose to engage a licensed broker to represent you, that relationship and any fees are solely between you and that broker. Any licensed brokers, landlords, or property managers you interact with through or as a result of the Services are independent third parties who are not employed by, affiliated with, or controlled by moveto, and who are solely responsible for their own compliance with applicable law.

4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We do not guarantee that you will find, be approved for, or lease any apartment. Listing information is provided by third parties and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You are solely responsible for verifying all information, including pricing, fees, availability, and lease terms, directly with the landlord, property manager, or listing party.

Part II — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how moveto collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website, text-message service, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

• Contact information: name, phone number, and email address you provide when you sign up or text us.
• Search preferences: neighborhoods, budget, move-in dates, apartment criteria, and other details you share to help us surface relevant listings.
• Communications: the content of text messages and other communications you exchange with us through the Services.
• Payment information: processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Services, including matching you with relevant listings and scheduling tours you request.
• To communicate with you by SMS/text message, email, or phone about your apartment search and the Services.
• To process payments for our software services.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
• To protect the security and integrity of the Services and to prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Consent

By providing your phone number and initiating or opting into text communication with moveto, you consent to receive text messages from us related to your apartment search and the Services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you may reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Information

• With landlords, property managers, or listing parties, only as needed to fulfill requests you make (for example, sharing your name and contact information to schedule a tour you asked for).
• With service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, SMS delivery, and payment processing) under confidentiality obligations.
• As required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of moveto, our users, or others.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, consistent with the New York SHIELD Act and other applicable law. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described below.

7. Your Choices and Rights

• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last Updated” date, and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
